What's new in AquaPlan – October 2026
In October we worked a lot on the things you shouldn't notice: that nothing disappears, and that it's easy to undo. On top of that, several requests from coaches have become new features.
History per training set and per week
Version history used to show every change in the whole season at once. It is now much more precise:
- On a training set you only see earlier versions of that exact set.
- On the weekly plan you only see changes to the sessions and weekly goals in the meso cycle you are viewing.
- "Restore" only reverts what you chose — the rest of the season is left untouched. If a session was deleted together with its training set, the set comes back too.
Safer saving
- AquaPlan now only saves what you actually changed. If you have AquaPlan open in several tabs, an old tab can no longer overwrite sessions you created somewhere else.
- The "Saved" message only appears when the save has actually gone through. If it fails — for example without a connection — you are told straight away.
- If you try to close the page with unsaved changes, you get a warning first.
Move ghost athletes between groups
Ghost athletes are athletes without their own account, typically the youngest. When they move up, you can now move them to a new group with "↔ Move" on the ghost page. Test results move with them. Attendance already recorded stays in the old group's plan.
Clearer season status
On the home page you now see the status directly on each season — Planning, Active or Completed — and click it to change it. The option that decides which season athletes see is now called "⭐ Use as the group's season", so it isn't confused with the status.
English version with the same features
The English version at en.aquaplan.no now has exactly the same features as the Norwegian one — just in English. Useful for clubs with international coaches or athletes.
Faster to get started
"Try free" on aquaplan.no now goes straight to sign-up. The trial is still 30 days, with no card details.
